These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the website confluencepeprep.com and any digital products, subscriptions, or services sold or distributed by Confluence PE Prep, LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing our website, purchasing our products, or subscribing to any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use our website, purchase our products, or subscribe to our services.
We sell digital study materials, including PDF study guides, practice exams, flashcard decks, and related educational resources, for engineers preparing for the NCEES Environmental PE exam. We also offer the Practice Question Membership, a paid subscription that delivers practice questions and worked solutions through this website. One-time purchases are made through Gumroad, a third-party platform, and are subject to Gumroad's terms of service in addition to these Terms. Subscription billing is handled through Gumroad and Stripe and is subject to their respective terms.
The Practice Question Membership is a recurring monthly subscription. Your subscription includes a set number of practice questions each month, as stated on the membership page at the time you subscribe. Questions generated beyond that included allotment are billed at the published overage rate. Your access is tied to a personal license key or access code, which is issued to you individually and may not be shared, transferred, sold, or used by more than one person.
Practice questions are delivered in two states. Questions labeled "PE-Reviewed" have been reviewed by a licensed Professional Engineer. Questions labeled "AI-Generated" are produced by an automated system and have not yet completed that review. We ask that you report suspected errors using the reporting tool provided with each question. Questions and solutions are exam-preparation aids and are subject to the "Educational Purpose Only" and "Accuracy of Content" sections below.
We may change the included question allotment, the overage rate, the subscription price, or the topics offered. For existing subscribers, we will provide notice before a price change takes effect on your next billing cycle. You may cancel at any time; cancellation stops future billing and ends your access at the end of the paid period. We do not provide partial-month refunds for unused questions.
All content on this website and in our digital products and subscription services, including text, graphics, logos, images, study materials, and practice questions and their solutions, is the property of Confluence PE Prep, LLC and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
When you purchase a product or hold an active subscription, you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use that content for your own individual study purposes. This license permits you to access the content on multiple personal devices and to print or save it as a PDF for your own use. It does not transfer ownership of the content to you. You may not:
These restrictions apply to any format in which you receive the content, including pages you print or save as a PDF from the practice question generator.
We reserve the right to revoke this license, and to suspend or terminate a subscription without refund, if these Terms are violated.
All content provided by Confluence PE Prep is intended solely for educational and exam preparation purposes. Our study materials are not intended to serve as professional engineering references, and should not be relied upon for professional engineering practice, design, or decision-making. Users are solely responsible for any application of information from our products outside the context of exam preparation.
Our study materials are designed to supplement your exam preparation. We do not guarantee that using our products will result in passing the NCEES Environmental PE exam or any other examination. Exam outcomes depend on many factors, including individual preparation, prior knowledge, and test-day performance.
Confluence PE Prep is an independent study resource. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES).
We make reasonable efforts to ensure the accuracy of information in our products and on our website. However, environmental engineering regulations, standards, and exam specifications change over time. We do not warrant that all content is current or error-free. Users are responsible for verifying critical information against official sources, including the NCEES reference handbook and applicable regulations.
One-time purchases are processed through Gumroad. Subscription and overage charges are processed through Gumroad and Stripe. Pricing, payment terms, and refund eligibility are subject to those platforms' policies. Because our products are digital downloads delivered immediately upon purchase, all sales are generally final, and subscription charges for a period already begun are not refundable. These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in the State of Colorado, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or if modification is not possible, it shall be severed from these Terms. The remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Confluence PE Prep, LLC regarding your use of our website and products. These Terms supersede any prior agreements or communications regarding the subject matter herein.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. If we make material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to provide notice (for example, by posting a notice on our website). Your continued use of the site or products after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
